Polytheistic.Today, polytheism is noted for being part of Hinduism, Mahayana Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism,

Shintoism, as well as contemporary tribal religions in Africa and the Americas.

There are various polytheistic religions practiced today, for example; Hinduism, Shintoism, Thelema, Wicca,

druidism, Taoism, Asatru, and Candomble.

Polytheism is the belief or doctrine that there are multiple gods or deities. Like monotheism, the word polytheism

can be used in the context of specific religions (such as Hinduism) or outside of formal religion. A person who

believes in multiple gods can be called a polytheist. The adjective form is polytheistic.

Although Christianity is usually described as a monotheistic religion, it is sometimes claimed that Christianity is not

truly monotheistic because of its idea of the Trinity. The Trinity believes that God consists of the Father, the Son, and

the Holy Spirit.
